Next-generation black reproduction has been achieved by improving the panel production process, incorporating the new Real Black Drive system (a pre-discharge control system), and raising the base illumination. Even in movie scenes where it is difficult to achieve a fine balance of light and dark, VIERA renders images just as the director intended.

Vieira Link allows you to use only one VIERA remote control to control multiple AV devices. This is made possible simply by connecting the devices together via an HDMI cable. Panasonic have further improved the performance of the VIERA Link through LUMIX digital camera connection. By connecting a new LUMIX camera that has an HDMI output terminal to VIERA, you can use the VIERA remote to control the playback of images stored on your camera, for example the DMCTZ6.

You can also view photographic images easily via the SD Memory Card Slot. This allows you to view your photos on your 42″ TVP42X10B TV immediately after you have taken them. All you need to do is insert your SD Memory Card into your VIERA and your photos will be displayed on the screen. You can also choose from among 3 types of background music and 4 display effects.

The Panasonic TX-P42X10B features Viera’s V-Real technology for outstanding picture quality. The Advanced 3D colour management system ensures that colour, brightness and luminosity are independently detected to produce the optimal quality in each, resulting in a picture that is bright and beautiful.

You’ll also enjoy atmospheric sound from the integral V-Audio sound system and a wide selection of channels thanks to its integrated digital tuner.
